Seersucker and Suede.

Something is seriously wrong with the environment when I can wear these outfits back to back.

Desert boots for desert weather.
This jean jacket is merely in place for “the reveal”. Believe me when I say that this shirt deserves a moment.
Rugged meets refined.
My four and a half year quest to find the right poncho can finally be put to rest.
These boots have become my reason for living.
Let the sun shine in for we have made it through the gauntlet of winter! The only thing to do now is to break out those pastels and glam it up. I rarely intentionally follow the trends of seasons. Most of the time they are repeats of yesterday or just unrealistic. However when told by the fashion world that spring would be a take on seventies chic, I couldn’t throw a poncho on quick enough. I am taking it a little more specific though. I was inspired by the whole obsession that men had back then with cowboys. In the 1970’s women were finally becoming equals and I feel that men looked to the ole’ west for some masculinity. Unfortunately bell bottom Levi’s and skin tight polyester doesn’t exactly scream “tough”. So on the side of my cow-pie I’m serving up a portion of NYC disco and a big grand helping of David Bowie. This spring theme might make me a little tacky but with the right strut anyone can be as cool as Travolta himself.
Feel free to enjoy my vision board…
